Letter, 1866 Apr. 26.

Letter addressed to "Messrs Kimball" written at Wailuku Plantation asking the recipients to wait for him to travel to Haleakala and Haiku with them. Clemens asks for prior notice so he can arrive with his horse and includes a humorous description of his horse ("his strong suit is grace and personal comeliness rather than velocity"). Clemens notes that he is sending this original letter as well as two or three copies to ensure safe delivery of his letter.
